Ceiling Panels Reduce Reverb Time in Local Brewery

Noise Control
Autex APA Ceiling Panels

Restaurants and venues contain hundreds of people conversing with one another. While a busy venue is essential for a thriving business, many voices speaking simultaneously in a highly reflective environment could actually steer patrons toward quieter spaces. This was the case with a local brewery in Columbus, Ohio that was constructed with metal roofing, glass walls, and concrete floors – all of which increase reverberation time excessively.

To solve this issue and create a more peaceful environment, we designed and installed a ceiling application that included 1” thick Autex APA panels to absorb the voices in the room. The owners were thrilled with the results and requested that we design and install a noise control solution for the offices above the brewery to prevent sound transfer.
